Affirmations, Declarations, Decrees and Gratitude

There is POWER in your spoken word to change your life.

Important to know:

There is creative POWER in the spoken word. So how does that work? A fundamental principle in God’s spiritual law is: “Like Energies Attract Like Energies.” The principle of sowing and reaping (giving and receiving) is one of the best known examples, but unfortunately, one of the least practiced. What you think, say, and do are critically important because you will begin to attract similar things back to you, either positive or negative, good or bad. That gate swings both ways. Your thoughts, words and actions will begin to manifest in your life. This is often called Karma in many religions of the world. The energies from your spoken words cause molecules to begin to align and manifest over time in the natural because spiritual law trumps natural law. When your spoken words are in agreement with God’s Word and promises in the Bible, blessings begin to flow supernaturally. So, be very intentional to speak only positive words and do good regularly and you will be blessed beyond measure.

Proverbs 18:21 teaches us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who indulge it will eat its fruit,” either for death or for life. The old saying “you will eat those words” has basis in Pr. 18:21. The words you speak have tremendous power to influence your life, so never underestimate the power of your words. They truly make a difference in the direction your life goes. Think of your words as containers for power; they carry either a life-giving force or a destructive force. Determine today to use your words to speak “life” everywhere you go. Remember: What you send out into the universe will eventually return to you because “like energies attract like energies.”

A “declaration” is a formal authoritative order and a “decree” is a public announcement of that order. The promises given to Believers in the Bible (God’s Word) are the “authority” for your declarations spoken in faith and expectancy.

Important to do:

Speak, declare and decree OUT LOUD daily the blessings you want to see manifest in your life. Say: “Today, in faith and expectancy, I come in agreement with God’s Word to declare and decree these blessings over my life and family.”

As an example, here is the short list of my daily declarations and affirmations. "Lord, today I affirm, declare, decree and give thanks that I am:"

HAPPY

HEALTHY

WEALTHY (prosperous in all things, not just money)

WISE (in God's Holy Word)

Willing and Well-Able (to do all God has called me to do today)

I hope you will take some time to thoughtfully and prayerfully determine your own declarations and "I am" statements. Then, form the daily habit of declaring them over your life, family and circumstances. You will be glad you did as they begin to manifest over time!
